JSSF (JSMM) student activist killed in Karachi By Security Agency ISI & M.I


A Sindhi sub-nationalist student activist, who was abducted on 5th of October in the day of Eid, has been brutally killed and his body has been dumped near the Malir Military Cantonment in Karachi. The Sindhi sub-nationalist named Shakeel Konhare was a student in the Sindh University where he was studying in the department of Social Work. He belonged to the student union Jeay Sindh Student Federation (JSFF) affiliated to the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM).
This first year student was celebrating Eid when he was abducted by reportedly religious fanatics and Pakistani nationalists abducted. For entire 5 days his whereabouts were unknown. Since the day one the JSMM leaders were blaming an intelligence hand in his abduction. The JSMM General Secretary Sajjad Shar alleged, “It was the notorious Pakistani intelligence agency Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) that is behind all the kidnappings including this one.” He expressed fear that he might be killed using most brutal methods of torture available.
Dr. Shar sough examples of a hundreds of Sindhi sub-nationalists belonging to JSQM and JSMM who were abducted and subsequently killed through torturous methods. Today the dead body of Comrade Shakeel Konhare has been found dumped near Malir Military Cantonment in Karachi. This is the same place where the bullet-riddle mutilated body of Comrade Muzaffar Bhutto was also found. The Sindhi separatist leaders are putting direct blame of ISI involvement and military backing in such extra-judicial assassinations sponsored by the state.
The JSMM leadership once again decided to go to human rights organizations to raise this matter. However in condition of anonymity one of the Sindhi sub-nationalist leaders belonging to JSMM said that they actually feel no hope from the human rights organizations in Pakistan which he claims to be stooge of the military establishment. When asked where they will raise their concern, he replied, “Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC)”. AHRC has raised such issues in past as well
