Sindh mourns over murder of JSMM leader Prem Dewaan

A shutter-down strike was observed in many areas of Sindh on Sunday against the killing of Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz leader Prem Dewaan.

Online: Many areas in interior Sindh including Warah, Dadu, Phulji Station, Bhan Saeedabad, Sann observed strike. Partial strike also observed in Jamshoro  and other areas. Several rallies and protest demonstrations were observed in Naseerabad, New Saeedabad, Sakrand, Mehrabpur, Moro, Kandiaro, Dadu, Phulji Station and Qambar where protestors chanted slogans against the state agencies.

A large number of activists and nationalist leaders gathered in Warah at the residence of slain Prem Dewaan, where the funeral prayer was offered on Sunday and he was laid to rest at the graveyard of Sann city.

JSMM leaders including Sajjad Shar, Shabir Mallah, Zulfiqar Jamali, Hafeez Sindh and chairman of JSSF (JSMM) Hafeez Pirzado gathered in Sann where the funeral prayer was also offered.

Slain leader buried near the grave of Muzafar Bhutto in Sann.
